Drying Carpet After a Basement Sump Pump Failure in Inverness

A sump pump failure left the carpet in this basement thoroughly soaked. You can clearly see the wetness in the carpet in the Before photo. The SERVPRO team was called in to help pack out and move contents to a dry area, cut through the carpet to remove all wet padding underneath, and set up equipment to dry the carpet. A strategically placed combination of fans and dehumidifiers effectively dried the carpet within days, as can be see in the After photo.
