Mold Damage – Elk Grove Kitchen

Mold damage was permeating behind the walls of this kitchen in Elk Grove. SERVPRO was contracted to remediate the mold damage and restore or rebuild the kitchen, whichever would be appropriate. We installed a containment area to prevent mold spores from traveling throughout the residence while we performed our work. We removed the appliances, drywall, and cabinetry to reach and clean the mold damage and remediated mold from the wall studs and sill plates. After determining the countertops were the only thing that could be restored and reused in the rebuilding phase of the project, we installed new flooring, new cabinets, and new paint. The client was extremely pleased with the final results.
