Mold Damage to Itasca Kitchen

A water pipe leak behind the cabinets and appliances in this Itasca kitchen resulted in mold damage. Darkness can cause mold can grow at a fast rate, as it did in this case. After tearing out significant portions of the cabinetry, some of the materials were treated at our warehouse and returned while others had to be discarded. The affected area was sealed off from the rest of the home to prevent the spreading of mold spores. We cleaned all surface areas and dried and dehumidified the entire kitchen. Once our monitoring equipment indicated normal air quality levels, we reconstructed the cabinetry and countertops.
